Funding for your short film
shortFLIX are offering aspiring filmmakers aged 18-25 who are not in full-time education, employment or training the chance to win a £10k budget and support.
This is a brilliant opportunity for up to 20 young filmmakers who will be selected to participate and benefit from a series of group workshops, alongside individual support to write a script and pitch their idea to commissioners.
Five finalists will be chosen to make their short films with a professional producer and crew, with a budget of up to £10,000 each.
No previous experience in or study of film production is required and participation is free, with financial support available for travel, accommodation and access needs.

Gain practical writing advice, learn how to pitch and find other filmmakers and crew to collaborate with. Develop ideas for broadcasters like Channel 4 and BBC.
Join a youth film club

Learn about the world of film and explore what it takes to get into the industry. Opportunities include; practical filmmaking, work placements and experience on a film set.
Work Experience with Resource Productions
Resource Productions offers Work Experience Opportunities to those aged 14+ that would like to know more about the industry whether that be on set or administrative roles.
